The first match has already been played, and the game as good. I don't know if this game will come close to the high levels of amusement set by bandit, but I suppose we'll have to wait and see.
THE GAME
The aim of the game is for each team to try and amass as many points as possible. Points will be awarded for many different things (see below) and taken away for many others (also see below). (note: the points will not count toward your overall Big Brother points, just this match).
The game will be split in two halves. The first half will run for the next three hours and 45 minutes, at which there will be a half hour break (half time), followed by a further three hours and 45 minutes, meaning eight hours to try and gain as many points as possible.
At half time, the individual player who has amassed the fewest individual points for his or her team will be eliminated, meaning that team will only have one person to try and gain points for.
At the end of the match, the team with the most points wins.
There are also red and yellow cards. A yellow card can be issued if I feel you aren't being particularly sporting to your opponents, or if you continually lose points for your team. A yellow card will lose your team 50 points. If you continue to lose points, I can issue a red card, which disqualifies you from posting, and loses your team 250 points.
Points can only be awarded once per post. I will keep a detailed list of every point awarded, but for simplicity's sake I won't post until after the game is finished.
The list of what points will be awarded for follows. I will update the list regularly, so keep checking
5 points every time someone tells a joke, 10 points if it's about the other country
5 points every time someone write a poem, 15 points if its multiple verses
15 points every time someone tells me how good looking I am
10 points for saying that this is the best game ever
-30 points for criticising the game
10 points every time you mention the world cup
10 points every time you praise Big Brother, especially if it's Anka
35 points every time you reveal a real life incident you've not told anyone about before
-5 points every time you double post
10 points every time you encourage your teammate to post
-3 points every time you mention your rival team, -7 points if you mention the names of the other team's members
45 points if you change your avatar to a funky picture of a cat. -50 points if you don't change it back before the end of the game.
-50 points for a yellow card, -75 if you complain
-250 points for a red card, -350 if you complain
Additionally, there are ways for other people to interact
CHEER POINTS (open to Tryina, Lucas, Bee, and Pen)
if you would look to show a preference to one team or the other, you can cheer them on by saying ;'Yay INSERT PERSON HERE', and they will receive an additional point to their team. You can only cheer each person five times.
Alternatively, you can also Boo those who you don't want to win buy saying 'Boo INSERT PERSON HERE'. You also have five boo points per person.
REFEREE POINTS.
The referee is allowed to award 20 points to the player he thinks has done best by the end of the game. Bandit and me are allowed to do this.
And finally
PENALTY SHOOT OUT.
The last part of the game. Once the match is over, each team will have a chance to bid for a special extra 200 points. More on that later
I hope the rules are clear. If you have any questions, now is the time to ask.
