HEY GUYS I HAVE NO IDEA HOW THIS WORKS. Like, I don't even know where to put it so I put it in the bathroom because it's the room in the house with the least amount of posts. Poor bathroom Also I realize right now is like a perfectly lax time for everyone in the contest except Lucas so Lucas will have to participate later RULES- DON'T swear! - DON'T make rude references or jokes about bodily waste! - DO support your country in every post you make in here! - DON'T degrade the opposing country in any post you make in here! - DO post an interesting, little-known fact about your country in every post you make in here! - DON'T post a boring, well-known fact about the opposing country in any post you make in here! - DO try your best! - DO have fun! - DON'T double post! SCOREBOARDBrazil: 0 (-1 to Tryina for not posting an interesting and little-known fact, -2 to Tryina/Lucas for not doing any crunches, -2 to Tryina/Lucas for not drawing Ben Affleck, -2 to Tryina/Lucas for not writing parody lyrics) Germany: 8 (5 to Pen for drawing Ben Affleck, 5 to Pen for finishing his crunches, -1 to Pen for not posting an interesting and little-known fact, -1 to Bee for triple posting, 3 to Pen for writing parody lyrics albeit terrible ones, -1 to Bee for not finishing her crunches, -1 to Bee for not drawing Ben Affleck, -1 to Bee for not writing parody lyrics) THE GAME IS OVER GERMANY WINS YAY

also, I WANT TEN CRUNCHES FROM EVERYONE ON BOTH TEAMS. you can only make one crunch per post and you should have them all done by the time this match is over.

Is this thread only for the members of the respective teams? Just out of curiosity. Because I'm all for Brazil winning, but I'd be cool with Germany winning as well. God I'm boring. Alright, I'm placing bets on Brazil to win - I'm putting in a fiver, anybody in?

*crunch* this is so cool, I'm having the time of my life! Go, Germany! Speaking of Germany, did you know that 15 million people in Germany are of non-German descent (first and second generation), i.e. 18.5% of the population. About half of them are foreign residents, not German citizens.

that's fun, bets are fun. just like this game. Is Germany so awesome and totally gonna win or what? GERMANY! An interesting thing about Germany is that the Germans can be credited for the discovery of insulin, the invention of the clarinet, the pocket watch, the automated calculator, the light bulb, television (partly), paraffin, petrol/gasoline & Diesel engines, the automobile (as well as the engine, differential gear and other important devices), the motorcycle, the jet engine, the LCD screen and the Walkman.

can we double post? I'm just having so much fun I can't wait to keep playing and supporting Germany with all of my heart! DEUTSCHLAND ALL THE WAY. Another thing that totally shows how great Germany is in every aspect is that you can find the tallest church in the world there, Ulm Cathedral, with 161.53 metres (530 feet) in height. *crunch*

Sorry, won't happen again.
Tho did you know that no less than forty-two Nobel Prize laureates studied or taught at the Georg-August University of Göttingen? Nobel Prize winners notwithstanding, famous people who taught there included Carl Friedrich Gauss (1777-1855), the Brothers Grimm. Alumni count among themselves Otto von Bismarck (1815-1898) and the American J. P. Morgan (1837-1913). How cool is that?! About as cool as this superfun game, I'd say. Germany can totally win this. *crunch*

pandoras are allowed to double post too. do non playing people have to follow the rules? im doing a crunch anyway because exercise is important.
i vote for pen and i vote for brazil. i realize thats contradictory in this case but whatever im team penny.
Dutch adults love to put sprinkles (the kind kids put on ice cream) on toast. woohoo netherlands whenever they play and whatever
i did this all anyway but i dont have to right? i just want to spectate.

non-playing people do not have to follow the rules but if they do they get a meaningless letter of recommendation from one referee to another.

Oh, it looks like we have spectators. That makes things even more fun! Hey Nicole, did you know that in 2005 Germany produced approximately 35% of the world's wind energy? There are over 20,000 wind turbines off the coast of northern Germany, the largest of which reach 200 metres in height. Makes me proud to be cheering for Germany hardcore. *crunch*

YOOO genuinely awesome news for everyone from Germany: Recently (like 2 weeks ago), in a single day, Germany was able to get 75 percent of its electricity from renewable resources. 75% of the electricity that powered all of Germany was solar and wind. That day, the actual prices for electricity on the German grid went to negative, 'cause the electricity was free. This has created the prospect that in the near future even free coal will have no value, and solar and renewable energy will become the economically most viable option to power cities. ( source 1, source 2, or just google it)
