HERE ARE THE RULES. I haven't altered them promise Welcome to your last full task, housemates. This week, each of you has been given something extra special: the ability to edit others' posts. You have also been given two objectives. One of them will be to edit a specific word, which has been provided to you in your diary room, into as many posts as possible. The second objective will be find out what the words are for the other 4 players corkscrew and remove them. This will require some strategy on your part; the more posts you edit the greater your chances of winning, but the easier it will be for others to find out your word. Points this week will be determined two ways. First we will be doing 4 random checkups throughout the week (NOT during midnight site time, since people have a tendency to camp out here) and during each checkup, the total amount of as-yet-unremoved edits will be noted. And secondly, points will be awarded for each successful removal of another player's word. In order for a removal to count, you must quote the post in your diary room and tell us the word you are removing (and of course the word must be the correct word). You have 96 hours. Good luck!

Our first checkup took place at 8:30 pm site time and Pen has 2 hidden posts right now and Bandit has 5.

I just checked again and now there are 3 posts with Pen's word and 6 with Bandit's.

Uh... Sure about that?
I'm not saying this because I just edited more posts or anything, I just know for a fact that I have more posts with my word than that.
Also I found and removed Bandit's word 5 times, so unless he had 11 posts with his word, his count is wrong too.

I used the search function and those were the number of posts that came up when I searched the words, minus the post in the diary rooms where you are told your words.

The search function doesn't show all posts with the word.

(And if it did, bandit would have 0 posts with his word right now. At least that he put there himself for the purpose of this task.)

(Also thank you for telling everyone about the search function.)

Why should anyone not have known about the search function? That's the most normal thing ever. And if there are posts where you put your word and the search function doesn't show them, then you can post links to them in your diary room if you want them to be counted. But I don't think anyone is going to read all posts ever to look if there are posts that the search didn't show.

I'm complaining about the fact that some of the posts I edited weren't counted and that some of bandit's that I removed were. I think that's reasonable. The search function takes a while to show edits. Which is why when you search for bandit's word, the posts I edited still show, even though his word is no longer in them. And when you search for my word, the posts I edited yesterday afternoon might still not show. It's bullsalsa to ask that I quote them in my diary room, because that wasn't part of the rules and I don't even remember which posts I edited. Also Linda seemed to be able to find all the posts.
