Totes. Fun fact about the Berliner: there's an urban legend about how JFK allegedly said "Ich bin ein Berliner" when visiting Berlin, wanting to say "I am a Berliner", but because of his use of the indefinite article "ein" the sentence could be translated as "I am a jelly doughnut". I have no idea how well-known this is, so I might look stupid for mentioning it, I just found it amusing.

Yeah, there's also an old Simpsons episode where, in a flashback, Homer's dad as a soldier hears JFK saying that phrase and deduces that he's a nazi and beats him up.

I have no idea how well-known this is, so I might look grumpy for mentioning it, I just found it amusing. i learned this in college not because of classes but because a roommate had a shirt that said it.
